Jailbreak Tutorials

Now available Jailbreak for iOS 12.4 – iOS 12.4.4 has been released

iPhone 5s – iPhone X, iOS 12.4.4 and up

Currently, all devices released between the iPhone 5s and iPhone X are supported excluding the iPad Air 2, iPad 5th Gen, and iPad Pro 1st Gen. Support for the iPhone 5s, iPad Mini 2, iPad Mini 3, and iPad Air is experimental. Use at your own risk.

You can check which version of iOS you have on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch via the Settings app. To do so, navigate to Settings > General > About. You’ll see the version number to the right of the “Version” entry on the About Page.

There are lots of tools available for jailbreaking your iPhone or iPad. But some are more user-friendly than others. Let’s take a closer look at the semi-tethered Checkra1n.

Checkra1n was developed by Italian hacker and security researcher Luca Todesco, also known as qwertyoruiop, drawing inspiration from the previously released exploit checkm8, and released in late 2019. It’s a semi-tethered jailbreak for iPad and iPhone, which means it has to be relaunched at every boot. Checkra1n currently supports devices running iOS 12.3 and up. But since the software is still in beta, support for iPhone 5s, iPad Mini 2, iPad Mini 3 and iPad Air should be considered experimental. And if you’re using a first generation iPad Pro, fifth generation iPad or an iPad Air 2, you’re unfortunately out of luck. But how do you use Checkra1n?

The jailbreak is currently only available for macOS, but versions for Linux and Windows are on their way. Using it is very simple and more devices are being supported with every release. Let’s go through the steps of jailbreaking your iOS-based device with the help of Checkra1n.
